The J.O. Mory website project is an upgrade of their existing site, redeveloping the structure with HTML/CSS coding while maintaining much of their visual design. Absolute Welding & Fabrication selected a free business card package from Heydayv Design in return for their sponsorship of WFEN, another one of my clients. The cards have a two-sided design with the name and contact information on the front and company details on the back. The newly designed website for Going Garbage & Recycling Inc. has been launched. This project was a complete makeover of their original website. It required a fresh design and total structural redevelopment to make the site more customer-friendly, to more clearly present the full scope of their services and communicate their commitment to responsible stewardship of the environment. This was accomplished by using elements such as enhanced imagery, prioritizing service information, integrating FaceBook to present updates, and giving detailed descriptions and illustrations of the equipment used to service customers. This logo project happened fast! The company is a startup serving breakfast, lunch and dinner items from a small commercial kitchen. Design requirements were for a vintage/classy/fun combination. The artwork came together quickly in Illustrator, and once the final colors were chosen it was hanging on a banner within two days.
Baileys on the Rocks Cottages needed a redesign and redevelopment of their existing website. Most of the original design elements were incorporated into the new site, while the majority of the project focused on the redevelopment of the structure. This included a conversion of the original image-based structure into HTML/CSS coding, along with incorporating a Content Management System and an availability calendar for enhanced functionality.
Culinaria is a new catering company. Their specialty is Spanish paella, and they are gaining in popularity for events such as backyard gatherings and corporate parties. Their specifications for the logo were to draw from multiple ideas including Italian Ceramic Pottery for colors and style. One additional specification was that the “C” needed to be able to stand alone as an icon. I used a blend of font face elements to create the structure, added a few artistic touches and crafted the correct color combination to produce the final result in color and greyscale versions, in both vector and raster formats.
The new Door Community Auditorium website has been launched. This project involved a complete overhaul of the original design and structure for the entire website. A new platform was employed using WordPress to provide the structure as well as an extensive content management system (CMS). Plugins were used to enhance the functionality, such as calendar, slide show, audio player and posts are used for event listing. Other systems include an online ticketing process, contact forms and social media integration of Twitter and Facebook. Elements of the complete redesign were complimentary to the print media developed by Dan Cross of Idea Studios for the 20th year anniversary.
The website redesign is now complete for Peaceful Acres Bed & Breakfast located in Shipshewana, Indiana. The project included converting the pages to HTML/CSS, adding more images, incorporating a contact form and adding some simple audio for enhanced user experience.
