Brad Gustafson contacted me about doing a website for their company.  They build steel buildings, are experts at concrete and specialize in creating facilities for the food processing industry.  I will be producing a custom HTML/CSS website for them to promote their company and to use in coordination with their existing print marketing materials.

Jerry wanted an Ecommerce website in order to sell his watches online.  I started out with a logo design for his business. Then we decided on using a WordPress platform for his site.  It involves some unique editing such as replacing the default home page (blogging format) with a static web page and integrating a shopping cart plugin to display and sell his products.  It’s still a work in progress, you can visit http://buckvintagewatches.net to watch it develop.

I did a website redesign for Lynn at the beginning of last year.  After that project was completed, I began some print work for him.  His business cards were finished last year, and now I have finally produced the layout for his brochure.  It is going to press today, and will likely be done and shipped by early next week.

I did the layout in Adobe Illustrator, with a few of the images prepped in Photoshop.

Also, it was fun to experiment with “text wrapping” by placing text inside a pre-shaped object.  Whether it is the most efficient way to create that portion of the layout or not, it worked for this project!

Doug from Classic Christian 24/7 [dot] com met with me yesterday to start the website portion of his new project. This website will feature streaming audio of classic Christian hits from the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s. You can see the current splash page at http://www.classicchristian247.com, which will be replaced with the actual website once the layout is completed.

The website for Hesston Mennonite Church has been completed. This includes a banner that randomly rotates the images (except for the Home page), a CMS for certain pages, a script that loads a list of folder items in reverse alpha order and in which the color is CSS controlled, an embedded feed for video media and a WordPress blog.

Uploaded the e-commerce plugin to test functionality for a potential client.  So far I’ve been able to get it to load, still working on the functionality part and am realizing that I will probably need to recommend the Gold version for multiple image uploads.

Development and launch of the Thankful Friends Dinner website has been completed.
